Stuff just seems to taste better at altitude!

The best breakfast buffets in the area are at The Stein Eriksen Lodge (steinlodge.com) or Snow Park Lodge (in the latter case, primarily if you are skiing, in fact you can ski right to it from Aspen Hollow). The Stein Eriksen is a fairly easy walk and a very short drive from Aspen Hollow in Silver Lake Village.

Excellent coffee is available at Silver King (a small drive thru coffee shop located at 1409 Kearns Blvd in Park City). They have excellent baked goods and breakfast burritos as well. This spot is really only accessible by car or Uber from Aspen Hollow.

The best spots on Main Street in Park City for breakfast are The Eating Establishment, located at 317 Main Street in Park City (theeatingestablishment.net), and The Bridge Cafe and Grill, located at 825 Main Street in Park City (thebridgecafeandgrill.com). The Bridge Cafe is located adjacent to the Town Lift for those wanting to ski or board at Park City Mountain Resort. Harvest, Five5eeds and Ellie’s Cafe are also well-regarded breakfast spots.

Solid bagels are available at Einstein Bros Bagels at 1890 Bonanza Drive in Park City (close to Silver King Coffee).

Best Lunch Spots:

-If you are skiing Deer Valley, the best lunch options are at Silver Lake Lodge, Empire Lodge or The Montage. The latter two are at Empire Pass (at the bottom of the Ruby and Empire chair lifts). The former is in Silver Lake. All are 100% skiable. At the Montage try to get into Burgers and Bourbon or just go sit at the bar and order from the menu. There are excellent kid activities there - arcade games and even two bowling lanes.

-If you are on Main Street, try The Bridge or the Eating Establishment. Also there is an excellent sushi lunch option at Yuki Yama but check the schedule as they close between lunch and dinner.

-If you are skiing PCMR, any of the on-mountain options are good. Note that the Summit Lodge is pretty pricey.

Best Apres Ski Spots:

-Deer Valley. If you end your day at DV, you have to try The Goldener Hirsch in Silver Lake. Get the Bavarian Pretzel, and the Short Rib Poutine. It can’t really be described; you just have to try it. Everything else is excellent too. All of the drinks are good, but the Hot Tottie and the Common Pilsner are favorites with the menu options above. Also try The Beach at Silver Lake. This is an area in the snow filled with lounge chairs. Just basically drinks and snacks but a fun and lively place to hang out.

-Main Street. High West Saloon is the place to be at the end of the ski day on Main Street. It is adjacent to the Town Lift and is the only ski-in distillery in the country. The best whiskey/bourbon based cocktails you have ever tasted and a great menu - the popcorn is amazing. They have an outdoor/patio option that is cash only with hot cider and whiskey. Mouth-wateringly good! Note that due to changes in state law, this place is now exclusively 21 and over only. So no kids unfortunately even if you are just having dinner.

Best Dinner Spots: Ordering-in:

Speedy Fernandez is like seamless web for Park City. They will deliver from multiple restaurants right to your front door. Sometimes after a day of skiing or other fun activities, a trip to the hot tub and a call to Speedy is just what the Dr ordered. Their website is ​parkcitydelivery.com​. It’s probably easiest to just call the number on the website while looking at the various menu options. Our favorite places to order from are Davanzas (great pizza, cheesesteaks and street tacos... odd mix I know); Butchers Steak House; No Name Saloon; Ruby’s Barbecue; Bouna Vita (Italian); The Bridge (see above); and Taramujara (Mexican).

Groceries:

-Grocery Delivery. Grocery delivery can be arranged through Sea to Ski or with The Grocery Girls (​thegrocerygirls.com​). It is recommended to order a day in advance of your arrival so the delivery is there when you arrive.

-Specialty Items. For prepared meals you can carry out and heat up at home and other higher-end snack options, try Riverhorse Provisions at the top of Main Street (the staff there is excellent and friendly) or try Deer Valley Grocery on Deer Valley Drive just before you get to Snow Park Lodge. Another great option is Windy Ridge Bakery which has amazing baked goods as well as prepared meals like soups and lasagnas that can be heated in the oven.

-Large Grocery Stores. A brand new Whole Foods just opened in Kimbal Junction which is about 10 mins north of Main Street. You will pass it on your way in if you come from SLC airport so depending on the time of day etc you can stop there if you want. They have an excellent lunch and micro brew counter if you want to grab a bite while shopping. The other option is Fresh Market which I love. It is just north of Main Street in Park City and has everything you could need.... just not as trendy as Whole Foods.
